Bewerbungsanforderungen (Stand Juni 2010)

Zu einer vollständigen Bewerbung gehören grundsätzlich:
    - Tabellarischer Lebenslauf,
    - Konzept (kurze, aussagekräftige Zusammenfassung, Charakterbeschreibungen),
    - Charakterdesigns,
    - ein ausgearbeiteter Handlungsverlauf für einen in sich geschlossenen Band (6 Kapitel à ca. 30 Seiten inklusive Kapitelcover),
    - 2-3 farbige Illustrationen*,
    - 2-3 ausgearbeitete Hintergründe (von wichtigen Handlungsschauplätzen),
    - 8-10 zusammenhängende, fertige Manga-/Comic-Seiten* mit Text, mindestens 2 davon zusätzlich als Skizze,
    - das Skript/Szenario/Drehbuch zu diesen Seiten (gegebenenfalls von einem Szenaristen angefertigt).


*bevorzugt zu dem Projekt, mit dem ihr euch bewerbt, notfalls auch aus anderen Projekten. Wir möchten euch aber ans Herz legen, stets nur aktuelle Bilder für Bewerbungen zu verwenden.

Dateiformate: .pdf, .doc, .rtf, .txt, .jpg (alle Grafiken bitte in WEB-Auflösung = 72 dpi) , bitte nicht mehr als 10 MB per Mail verschicken (auch da schon lieber 2 mails à 5 MB).

aktuelle Hinweise:
    - NGPub interessiert sich grundsätzlich für Geschichten mit Fortsetzungspotenzial aller Genres, allerdings für eine Interessengruppe ab 14 Jahren.
    - Wir suchen Autoren, die sich sowohl von Manga als auch von westlichen Comics inspirieren lassen und sich diese in ihren Stilen zu eigen gemacht haben.
    - Der Stil sollte zur oben genannten Interessengruppe passen.

Wie sieht es denn mit dem Einverständnis der Eltern aus? Also wenn man unter 18 ist?
Darf man sich da auch bewerben und wie müssen die Eltern ihr Einverständnis erklären?

Das Einverständnis der Eltern muss uns bei Vertragsschluss schriftlich vorliegen, d.h., nach Kenntnis der Rechtslage (sprich: des Vertrags) entweder in einem bezugnehmenden Schreiben, gebenenfalls müssten die Eltern auch den Vertrag als gesetzliche Vertreter des noch nicht volljährigen Autors (mit-)unterschreiben.

Wie muss denn die Zustimmung der Eltern erfolgen, wenn man sich auf Comicstars registriert?
In den AGB steht ja was vom Einverständnis der Eltern.

Bitte bitte bitte, versteht das jetzt nicht falsch, aber ich habe dazu mal eine Frage.
Bei der Durchsicht meiner eigenen Mangas aus Japan und Taiwan ist mir aufgefallen, dass hauptsächlich 5 Kapitel in einem Band zusammen gefasst sind.
Was ich mich jetzt Frage ist, wäre es für Comicstars auf längere Sicht hin nicht lukrativer 5 Kapitel in einem Band zusammen zufassen.
Ich meine, dass es dann doch auch mehr Bände geben würde, oder?
Also das ist jetzt nur eine Frage, keine Kritik an euch, ich habe mich nur gewundert, weil meine Mangas alle 5 Kapitel haben und in AUßNAHMEFÄLLEN mal 6!
Aber vielleicht, sehe ich das ja auch falsch.
Um auf die Bewerbung zurückzukommen, dann müssten doch erstmal 5 Kapitel eingeschickt werden, oder?

Vielen Dank für deine Fragen!
Zu den 6 Kapiteln: Wir haben uns nach langer Überlegung für ein 6 Kapitel-Konzept entschieden, das gibt unseren Autoren sowohl bei einbändigen als auch bei mehrbändigen Konzepten mehr Raum und Möglichkeit für die Storyentwicklung innerhalb eines Bandes. Mehr Bände bedeutet leider nicht unbedingt automatisch, dass es auch lukrativer ist.
